Shoot!

Tanaka Toshihiko, Kazuhiro Hiramatsu, and Shiraishi Kenji are bestfriends since they were in the Kakenishi Junior High School. They were in the school's soccer team. Kenji was the keeper, Kazuhiro was the right-forward, and Toshi was the center-forward player. The three of them were known as the "Trio Kakenishi Junior High". They go to the same senior-high school, Kakegawa.

Yoshiharu Kubo, a senior in Kakegawa was known as the most talented high-school soccer player in Japan. He's the captain of the Kakegawa soccer club. To play with Kubo is Kenji's, Toshi's, & Kazuhiro's reason getting into the Kakegawa soccer club. The Kakegawa soccer team went to the high-school summer-championship. They beat their opponents and won each game the played. On the semifinal, their opponent was the Kakekita soccer-team. Kakekita is one of the strongest in the whole championship. One of Kakekita's player is Hirose. He was verrrrry good! Kubo helped Kenji to guard their goal-post from Hirose's attacks. At last, Kakegawa won the game. But in the end of their game, Kubo suddenly fainted, and then he died. He died because of the blodd cancer. None of the Kakegawas knew about Kubo's disease. All of them cried that night. The next day was their final game, challenging Fujita Higashi. But all of the Kakegawas can't play well. They can't concentrate at their game. They kept thinking about Kubo. They were beaten by Fujita Higashi 7-1.

3 months after Kubo's death, a new player joined Kakegawa. His name is Mahori Keigo, a Japanese player who studied in Brazil. He replaced Kubo's position. Then, Kakegawa start their practice again. They're doing Kubo's messages before his death, and they became much better and improved. They went to the winter-championship. Once again, they reached the final game, and again playing versus Fujita Higashi. This time, THEY WON!!! :))

Their adventure didn't stop just there. They kept winning every games that they were playing. They became the Japanese highschool soccer team-champion.
